I'm Rachel, a graphic designer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I graduated in 2009 with a BDes Hons degree in Design for Visual Communication; my main areas of interest being branding and design for print.

Despite coming from a primarily artistic background I found myself flourishing in a more disciplined and problem-solving field, which drew me to this study. During my placement year 2008 I worked as the in-house designer for a local council which earned me a diploma in Industrial Studies along with invaluable skills and experience, producing material such as newspaper advertisements, magazines, posters, leaflets and large scale ads on buses and banners. In my spare time, photography is an avid hobby which I like to integrate with my work at appropriate opportunities. In the future I hope to study web design in greater depth because while I can put together a simple site for myself my coding skills leave a lot to be desired!

I am currently working as a designer/creative artworker for an international print management company and due to these commitments I can no longer take on freelance projects.
